Susan G. Vinson President, was born in Eden, North Carolina. She received
her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration from the
University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana. Susan was Executive
Vice President and then President of The United Group until CDI was formed
in May of 1990. Prior to that, she was Corporate Director of Purchases for
Bancroft Paper Company, Inc. and sat on the Board of Directors.
Roger Green Director of Marketing/Operations, came onboard with CDI on October 20th, 2008. He is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and received his degree in Business Management from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His background includes over nine years in the petroleum industry and twenty plus years in the automotive industry working for General Motors and Guide Corporation. His responsibilities include updating and administering all aspects of information technology, working with the membership in the areas of marketing and operations, assistance in the solicitation of new members in markets where CDI is not represented, and development and promotion of auxiliary programs and services for the membership to effect cost savings. He will also participate in Supplier Review Meetings and will be focused on effecting the maximum purchases by our members from our Preferred Sources of Supply.
Gale R. Hodge is Administrative Coordinator for CDI. A native of Monroe,
Louisiana, she attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she
majored in Business Administration. Gale was with The United Group for five
years and served on that company's Board of Directors as Secretary. Although
her duties are numerous, Gale's primary responsibility is coordination of
the group's Marketing Allowance Programs, both from a member and supplier
perspective.
Deris Beck joined the CDI team in October 2008, as a part-time administrative assistant. She is responsible for publishing the quarterly CDI newsletter (UPDATE), performs numerous analytical functions related to the growth incentive portion of the Marketing Allowance Program, and provides support for special projects and presentations. She attended an area university and retired from a local industry after 30 years of service, working primarily in Human Resources and Quality Control.
