
From inception, CONSOLIDATED DISTRIBUTORS, INC. ("CDI") was organized to address one common concern: To establish a member-owned and operated marketing group dedicated to increasing the market share and profitability of independent wholesale paper, sanitary maintenance, and restaurant equipment distributors.
The ultimate goal of the group is to secure a member (distributor) in every major market in the country. In conjunction with the growth of its member base, CDI seeks to affiliate with the industry's premier manufacturers.
This expansion of CDI's membership and supplier affiliations will be selective and in strict adherence to established criteria.

Susan G. Vinson, President, was born in Eden, North Carolina. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana. Susan was Executive Vice President and then President of The United Group until CDI was formed in May of 1990. Prior to that, she was Corporate Director of Purchases for Bancroft Paper Company, Inc. and sat on the Board of Directors.
John W. O’Leary joined CDI on January 7, 2008 as General Manager. John is responsible for membership development and services. He is also responsible for marketing, web site and IT programs. A native of Rochester, NY, John earned his degree in Business from Wheeling University. Prior to joining CDI, John held a variety of Account Management and Marketing positions with Burroughs, Eastman Kodak, Monarch Marking, Wilmac and Computer Associates.
Gale R. Hodge is Administrative Coordinator for CDI. A native of Monroe, Louisiana, she attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she majored in Business Administration. Gale was with The United Group for five years and served on that company's Board of Directors as Secretary. Although her duties are numerous, Gale's primary responsibility is coordination of the group's Marketing Allowance Programs, both from a member and supplier perspective.
